Radiodermatitis is an acute burn injury that varies significantly in severity depending on both patient characteristics and treatment. Most acute radiodermatitis recurs within several months after its initial onset but some common treatments persist and may even lead to complications. This type of burns can be caused by overexposure to sunlight or heat, chemicals, and medical interventions such as chemotherapy, but the most common reasons for the disease are faulty burn pit management and inappropriate antinuclear antibodies (panleukopenia). Burns are categorized into two: non-traumatic and traumatic.
